One of the most important things you can do is to learn to accept your thoughts.

Another helpful strategy is to distance yourself from your thoughts

Try to see them as outside observers, rather than as part of yourself.

This can help you to be more objective and less emotionally involved in your thoughts.

It's also important to challenge your negative thoughts.

Are they really true? Is there any evidence to support them? Or are they just your mind playing tricks on you?

If you find that your thoughts are overwhelming, try to distract yourself. Do something that you enjoy and that takes your mind off of your worries.
